What this product does
- The D-Link 8-Port Gigabit Smart Management Switch (DCS-1100-08P) is a compact, web managed switch that can power connected devices through Power over Ethernet (PoE). Optimized for small business and departmental deloyments, the DGS-1100-08P can be used as a simple plug and play switch or users can take advantage of advanced fetures such as Surveillance VLAN, Quality Of Service (QaS), and port-based Bandwidth Control. Configuration is easy using either the Intuitive web-based management interface or D-Link's Network Assistant software utility. This switch designed with ease of use in mind, is ideal for growing business looking for simple port expansion now and management in the future.
PoE Support
- The DGS-1100-08P can power connected devices through PoE, making deployment with IP cameras, VoIP phones, and access points much easier. Power cords will become a thing of the past as the DGS-1100-08P supports a 64 watt power budget. The 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports mean that even high quality video is no problem.
